How do I link my bank accounts to Benjamin? 

1. Go to the Money tab and select Linked external accounts.2. Tap Link account and follow the steps to connect securely through Plaid.3. Choose the account you want to authorize for transaction data and complete the secure login process.

Your account should be recognized in the system within 24 hours, so please wait until it’s fully linked before making purchases.

What are the benefits of linking my bank account?

By linking your financial accounts, you can:

• Earn cashback on eligible purchases.

• Withdraw funds to your bank.

How many accounts can I link to Benjamin?

You can link an unlimited number of accounts, even from the same financial institution. Just remember, it may take up to 24 hours for new accounts to be fully integrated, so wait for confirmation before using them for cashback.

Why am I receiving a message that my account is already linked elsewhere?

Some neobanks like Varo and Current automatically link their accounts to specific rewards programs, which can prevent linking them to Benjamin. This practice avoids “double-dipping” across different rewards platforms.  

To resolve this, try linking a different financial account or consider using Benjamin’s upcoming secure credit card, designed to provide direct access to rewards.

Can I use Benjamin without linking a financial account?

Yes! You can still earn rewards without linking a financial account. Here’s how:

• Earning rewards: Use our Safari extension for exclusive cashback offers from over 60,000 online merchants, or scan receipts from selected purchases to earn cashback.

• Withdrawing earnings: You won’t be able to transfer your earnings to a bank, but you can still redeem them as gift cards.

How do I remove a linked financial account? 

To unlink an account:

1. Go to the Money tab and select Linked external accounts.

2. Choose the account you wish to remove and follow the prompts to disconnect it.

How do I withdraw my earnings?

Once your balance reaches the $25 minimum, you can withdraw funds via:

• ACH: Direct bank transfers, with funds arriving within 3-5 business days.

• RTP: Instant bank transfers, though bank processing times may vary.

• Gift cards: Redeem cashback through Prizeout for shopping or gifting.

Can I cancel my withdrawal?

Withdrawals are processed immediately upon initiation and cannot be canceled, whether transferring to a bank or redeeming as a gift card.
